I was listening to your program this morning when you touched a raw nerve with me – AARP. I have sent emails and letters to them expressing my disgust on how they manipulate Seniors and how they hijacked AARP from what could have been a representative organization standing up for Senior issues.
Several weeks ago I received an email advising of another and competing Seniors organization: American Seniors Association. Their link is: http://www.americanseniors.org
They are aligned with conservatives and partners include Tea Party Patriots, USMA, 60 Plus, NRA etc. You get the gist. Fox news carries some of their events.
I sent an email with this link last week to a number of similar thinking friends and urged them to consider joining – I did. One, Ken Eikenbery the former Washington State Atty Gen responded: “Good for you. KOE”
This is clearly a choice not supported by a liberal bias. Your listeners would likely be interested in this choice too.
